The company was started in 1962 in India, as a joint venture of Amalgamations Group and L. M. Van Moppes & sons U K. L. M. Van Moppes & sons has now been acquired by Saint-Gobain abrasives.
The Company has two manufacturing locations in India. One at Chennai and the other at Bangalore.
